Day 1 UK - Athens

Today you will fly to Athens. On arrival we will transfer you to your hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing, or you may wish to explore the ancient Plaka district below the Acropolis to get your bearings. Get to know your fellow travellers over a welcome meal this evening. Meals included: D

Day 2 Athens

After breakfast, we will enjoy a tour of Athens to discover more about important ancient Greek civilisation with visits to the renowned hilltop citadel, Acropolis and its fascinating museum. The rest of the day has been left free for you to discover the city at your own pace. Meals included: B

Day 3 Athens

Today you have a free day in Athens or you may wish to join an optional day trip to the ancient city of Delphi - once thought to be the Centre of the Universe. It's the site of the 4th-century-B.C. Temple of Apollo, once home to a legendary oracle, and today it's an extensive archaeological site. Once back in Athens, you have the evening free to enjoy the city sights, and sample some wonderful Greek cuisine. Meals included: B

Day 4 Mykonos

Today, another exciting chapter of your Greek adventure starts. We will travel to the port to board the Celestyal Discovery. This afternoon you will dock in the magical sun-kissed island of Mykonos. Affectionately known as the 'Islands of the Winds', Mykonos is home to the 16th-century windmills that have become iconic picture postcard landmarks. Spend the day exploring this beautiful island and its vibrant atmosphere. Meals included: B,L,D

Day 5 Kusadasi & Patmos

This morning we will approach the Turkish coast, where the charming port of Kusadasi awaits. There is an optional guided tour available to the ancient city of Ephesus which is bookable through the cruise company. Alternatively, why not take some time to enjoy the seafront or the city's famous bazaar. This afternoon, we will move on to Patmos - famed for being the location where the Book of Revelations was written, by the legendary St John. There is the opportunity to take a shore excursion to visit the Cave of the Apocalypse, where St John lived. Meals included: B,L,D

Day 6 Rhodes

The stunning landscape of Greece's largest Dodecanese Island, Rhodes, seamlessly combines dramatic ancient and historic sites, with charming modern hillside villages. Here you will explore the cobbled alleyways and narrow arteries in the Old Town on an included walking tour, where opulent architecture awaits. This walking tour is operated by the cruise company. Day 7 Heraklion & Santorini

As we pull into Heraklion, look out for the imposing 16th-century walls of Koules Fortress. Revel in the calm of the stunning waterfront or enjoy a whirlwind adventure around the Cretan countryside. You could delve into Crete's past with a spellbinding tour of the Palace of Knossos, and listen to tales of intrigue and more in the Knossos museum. Was the Minotaur half-man or myth? You're about to find out! Following an afternoon sailing across the Sea of Crete, you will arrive in the spectacular caldera of an ancient volcano - which now forms the picture-postcard views of the island of Santorini and its iconic whitewashed houses and blue-domed churches that you will see on an included excursion operated by the cruise company to Oia. Ancient Greeks believed that Delphi was the "Navel of the Earth", a place seen as a spiritual focal point for all Greeks; it included many sanctuaries and the most prestigious oracle in all of ancient Greece. Delphi is now an extensive archaeological site with the whole area on the side of Mount Parnassus recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, for having had a great influence in the ancient world. How is the booking process

You can request a brochure, check availability and book online 24 hours a day/7 days a week at www.travelsphere.co.uk. Booking one of our holidays is easy online.

If you prefer to speak to someone to make your booking you can call us on 01858 415100. Calls may be recorded to ensure a high level of customer service. When you are ready to book please have the following information to hand:

✔ Holiday reference as shown on the holiday page

✔ Preferred departure date

✔ Full names of all those travelling as stated on their passport

✔ How many rooms and type

✔ Holiday insurance requirements

✔ Credit or debit card details for deposit payment

You will be given a booking reference, please quote this whenever you contact us. If you book by telephone you will be asked for your email address so that we can send you details of all the relevant documentation for your booking; which will include: your confirmation invoice, holiday information, final travel documents and a health questionnaire.

 

Do we take deposits ?

Each booking must be accompanied by the appropriate deposit payment. In most cases we will charge the following deposit per person but the actual amount will be made clear at the point of booking:

  • UK HOLIDAYS - £150
  • EUROPEAN HOLIDAYS - £200 PER PERSON
  • WORLDWIDE HOLIDAYS - £250 OR 10%
  • WHICHEVER IS THE GREATER
  • OCEAN CRUISES - £250 OR 10% WHICHEVER IS THE GREATER

On some holidays we may charge a slightly higher deposit, to cover any costs we have to pay immediately to secure your booking with our suppliers. This will be made clear at the time of booking.
You can use your debit or credit card to confirm your booking instantly. All major credit cards are accepted and there is no charge for paying by debit/ credit card, by cheque or bank transfer.
